Tutorial

Set up a default role for an application.

Background

You can specify a default role for each application in DreamFactory.

Setting up a default role is optional. The use case is to provide API permissions for unauthenticated users of the application (e.g. guest users) .

Example - Create a default role for an application

1. Log into the DreamFactory admin console as an Admin.
2. Click on 'Apps' > 'Create'.
3. Select the default role for the application. Click to create the application.
